• Citizen assemblies and panels are great tools to share power, discuss different topics and put forward citizen-led initiatives in decision-making. 
• Make sure that the Assembly is representative of the population concerned (e.g. whole population, marginalised groups) and that it has a genuine impact on the decisions.
• Ensure commitment from decision-makers to implement outcomes.
