We believe that sustainability and justice need to go hand in hand. This platform collects resources on how to create cities that are both sustainable and just. We aim to support and provide tools for decision-makers, administrators, activists, and other city-makers in their work towards an equal, inclusive, and sustainable future.
The Sustainable and Just Cities website is based on the work done by the EU-funded UrbanA project. The space is currently curated by ICLEI Europe’s Socio-Cultural Transformation Team and is now a repository for all relevant projects and resources undertaken by ICLEI Europe.
Here, you can explore a selection of our current and past projects, guiding frameworks, and easily access and filter our resources, including Audio, Policy Brief, Video, Action Guide, Tool, Educational Material, Case Study, Research. Topics span a broad range of sustainable urban development topics (public participation, energy communities, inclusive mobility, civil society collaboration, etc.)
