This report critically reflects on the experience of the UrbanCommunity experimenters - a group of motivated change makers who received mini-grants from ICLEI Europe to implement creative projects at the intersection between environmental sustainability and social justice. The report provides an overview of their work, their ideas and their vision to reach sustainable just cities. It highlights commonalities and divergences, as well as challanges and opportunities for communities and small municipalities creating sustainable and just cities.
